Mothers day cards

                        I've been busy this week making Mothers day cards this week                                     Here are a few pictures of them

The card was made from a Debbie Moore, Vintage Birds CD. I used the Decoupage element and printed off the backing paper to match.. The paper flowers where cut from Flower Shoppe at 3 1/2 ''.

 

 

This is another one done from the Debbie Moore's Vintage Birds CD and so is the box it comes in.      I just love the muted colours on this card, it goes well with the splash of colours of the flowers

leaving card

I was asked to make a leaving card for someone at work. The card is for a man and you know how hard men's cards are to do. Ages ago I brought a Digi stamp from Kenny K and I thought it would make a great card for men.

 

Cardstock from Hunkydory , it's a mans world.

Lettering was cut at 3'' on my Brother Scan N Cut.

I used my Promarkers to colour in , the colour used was

Azure

Royal Blue

Powder Blue

China Blur

Grass

Poppy

Yellow

Gold

Mustard

Henna

Caramel

Satin

Ivory

Blush

MY FIRST MDF PROJECT

                 Well this my first attempt at decorating some MDF I  brought some time ago.

I started off with a plain butterfly. I was looking for some MDF primer I brought ages ago but couldn't find it so the next best thing I have got was my trusted Ink pots,

the inks I used was ColorBox Chalk in Warm Red for the middle and ColorBox Chalk Dark Peony for the outside of the butterfly.

 

Next I used my new stamp from Heartfelt Creations (Flora Granda ) and stamped it of the page, to finish of I sprayed Mister Huey's colour mist in Shine and added some Dovecraft glitter glue in Crystal,  added some copper wire to hang it up with and a little bit of ribbon. Let me know what you think of my first attempt.

 



Owl card

This birthday card was done using my Cricut machine . The cartridge used was Cindy Loo, and cut at 6 1/2 ''. The cardstock was all from Papermill Direct. Around the eyes I used Liquid Pearls in lilac. Quite a cute card.
Right I now going to hope over to Hels blog and do a challenge, not done one of those for ages.

Large stamped flowers

This is what I have been doing today.
I brought a Heartfelt Creations stamp from Create and Craft a few weeks ago and just got round to using it.

This is what I did, following step by step instructions from Hels Sheridan blog (very talented lady)

White on White Christmas card

I have never made a white on white card before so I thought I would give it a go,
This was such an easy card to make. The Dove was cut out using my Cricut machine , the cartridge used was December 25th and was cut at 4'', The sentiment was punched for an cut and emboss die from Tonic Studios, which I just purchased from Create and Craft, and the boarder was done using an Martha Stewart punch. I think the end result looks quite effective.
